Oscar’s is run in conjunction with St John’s Church and provides care and entertainment for children both before and after school and for some whole days during school holidays.

Children can be dropped off at Oscar’s from 7.30 a.m. and breakfast can be provided if necessary for a small charge. The children are safely escorted to school.

After school the children are collected from Holly Grove and they can stay at Oscar’s until 6.00 p.m.. Again, sandwiches etc. can be provided for a small charge.

Activities provided include indoor tennis and hockey, ball games – skipping and space hoppers – art and craft –dressing up and drama – music – board games – computer activities – cookery – and a quiet room for reading or doing homework.

Parents should register by filling in a form available from school or St. John’s Community Church. Fees are payable a week in advance and cheques should be made payable to Oscar’s.
